Cotswold Rods

Anyone else like a kid on chritmas eve? I am, spots have been baited, new line put on reels, rigs tied and magic beans soaked and alarm set for 2am. The flask will be filled and i will set off on my journey of a whole 2 miles to the mighty river Wye. I would have liked a bit more water/colour/pace in the river but i dont really care. My hunt for a 12lb Wye barbel starts tomorrow and im itchiing for it! A new Torrix Wye barbel rod has been built specially for the occasion and i shall hope to christen it.
