Years spent chasing, searching and suffering on windswept Cotswold gravel pits caused the crossing of bramble strewn paths of Tom Pollard and Daniel Jefferies.
After countless nights under battered brollies and endless kettles of tea, a common bond was formed over the disappointment of not being able to buy the perfect fishing rod, even if money was no object. The mix of practicality and form we wanted was unobtainable elsewhere. We always knew we could do better ourselves, culminating in the birth of Cotswold Rods.
With over 50 years angling experience between us, Toms almost relentless desire to make things happen and Dans background in cutting edge formula 1 carbon composite engineering, we aim to make Cotswold Rods one of the most forward thinking and innovative companies out there.
We work closely with a small team of excellent consultants, who all offer valuable thought, ideas and needs to our rod building and design.
We beleive we are at the forefront of custom rod development today, we can source any part, have handles machined from most materials to your specification and our attention to workmanship is flawless.
We aim to be the U.K.s most pro-active rod builders and provide our customers with levels of service to match the quality of our workmanship.
