Rod Rebuilds and RepairsUnlike many other rod builders, we offer a full rebuild and repair service. If you have rods that you love the action of, have sentimental value, or are just looking a little tired, we can help. We are a handle rebuild specialist, and we do many, many cork and full duplon conversions every year.
If your rings need a strip and rewhip, or even just a ring replacing, we can do that too. There is almost no length we will not go to, to deliver what you require, no matter how small the detail. When thinking about having your rod re-build, please bare in mind that in order for us to rebuild it, we need to very carefully strip it off first. This can be time consuming and contributes to most of the cost. As we spend an awful lot of time quoting for rebuilds, here is a rough price guide for repairs and rebuilds. These prices may vary slightly from rod to rod, but if you email us with your rod, we will give you an exact price.
